Family Law Introduction

At Graber Law Firm, one of our areas of emphasis is Family Law, a broad practice which encompasses legal matters such as Dissolution, Paternity, Child Custody, Property Settlements, Visitation, and many more. We deal with both Agreed Dissolution, in which all parties agree to the terms of the dissolution and there is no need to resolve matters of custody or property by trial or by mediation, and we deal with Contested Dissolution, in which custody of minor children or disbursement of marital property is disputed, and a trial or mediation is necessary to resolve these matters.

In such matters as Paternity, Custody or Visitation, we understand that all parties involved wish for a quick finish as said matters can tax the emotions of Children as well as adults. The interests of the children are paramount to our office, and we will do as much as we can to ensure that those interests are protected. Not only do we constantly refer to the statute for requirements, but often we look to experts on the subject to help determine what is in the best interest of the children.

Property settlements can be drawn out affairs that are difficult to clearly resolve. Oftentimes, there is no way to divide the marital property evenly amongst the parties involved. In these cases, we at Graber Law Firm go as far as it takes to ensure a settlement that protects the best interest of the client we represent.
